Entering the 2016 season, adidas Baseball wanted a new direction for product photography based on the concept of a 'cleathead'. They were inspired by sneaker culture and sneakerheads but weren’t sure how to portray them in the baseball realm.
I proposed moving past the polished aesthetic of most baseball footwear. A raw and gritty voice seemed necessary for the shoes that do so much dirty work on the field.
